Jean-Philippe Colmant set out to perfect South Africa's take on a French tradition: Méthode Cap Classique, resting his wines three times longer than the norm. Today, Jan and Isabelle Boone, together with Paul Gerber, carry that legacy forward, blending tradition with innovation. The new label trades the familiar rectangle for an elongated oval, drawing on the heritage of historic French maisons, while a composed wordmark adapts fluidly from bottle to screen. The linework symbol captures the art of blending, its intersecting lines uniting Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. At the same time, the symbol evokes a source of light radiating outwards, a subtle reference to the brilliance, energy and sense of occasion associated with sparkling wine.
